APALA is proud to convene its Asian Pacific American Worker Rights Hearing in the Oakland area.

Hear from Asian Pacific American workers about the challenges they face in exercising their right to organize. Advocates and workers in labor-community alliances, immigrant issues rights campaigns and local labor unions will speak out on their issues and strategies to fight for workers’ rights, solidarity and economic justice.

There will be API immigrant worker testimonies from various industries including workers, domestic workers, airport food service workers, restaurant and construction workers.
