Asian Americans & Pacific Islander (AAPIs) Support Immigration Reform

On November 18, Representative Luis Gutierrez (D-IL) will share details about the comprehensive immigration reform legislation that he intends to introduce this year through a national telebriefing. Communities across the country are joining this national conversation in their homes, churches, classrooms, and worksites, and then taking actions to promote immigration reform.


Bobby Scott: House Passes Historic Health Insurance Reform Legislation

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, the House of Representatives passed H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act, by a vote of 220-215.  The legislation will lower health care costs, provide access to care for 36 million Americans, and provide a public option for consumers to help encourage competition among insurers and drive health costs down.


Doris Matsui Votes to Expand Access and Increase Affordability of Health Care
