Calls Needed Today to Advance Comprehensive Immigration Reform

Today Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) introduced the Comprehensive Immigration Reform for America’s Security and Prosperity Act of 2009 (CIR ASAP). Members of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus, the Congressional Asian Pacific American Caucus, the Congressional Black Caucus and the Congressional Progressive Caucus all support CIR ASAP, which is this Congress’ first real step toward common sense reformation of our nation’s broken immigration system.

President Obama Needs to Hear YOUR Voice!

Now that Congress is moving forward, it is time for the White House to do the same.

PLEASE CALL THE WHITE HOUSE NOW AND DELIVER THIS SIMPLE MESSAGE:  We are holding President Obama to his promise to enact comprehensive immigration reform next year.

Call the White House Toll-Free at 1-866-584-0773

CIR ASAP demonstrates that members of Congress have heeded the calls of Asian Americans and others in the immigrant community for an immigration system that reunites families, restores fairness to our labor markets, recognizes the contributions of immigrant workers and families, helps get our economy back on track and ensures that we stay true to our values as a nation of immigrants. Let’s work together to ensure that the President hears them too.

Call the White House NOW!  Dial 1-866-584-0773
