Jean Quan is close to becoming the first Asian-American woman to run a major U.S. city in next week's Oakland Mayoral challenge. Jean is a true progressive that believes in grassroots democracy.  Over the years, she has organized for better schools, good affordable housing, and diverse communities that work together.  

We are within striking distance of defeating a big money opponent that has been largely funded by interests that don’t represent the people of Oakland.  Despite being outspent 10-1, we are on the verge of a victory.  This is all due to our grassroots, democratic, volunteer-run campaign based on real solutions for Oakland. 

Make no mistake; this race will be close.  

In these final days we need your support to get us over the margin of victory and into City Hall!

We need volunteers for the Get Out the Vote push this weekend through election day as well as donations to raise the last $20,000 to make sure we have enough resources to finish strong.
