Jindal's Response Not So Big, Not So Easy

bobby_jindal Well, it looks like the reviews are in for Louisiana Governor Bobby Jindal's response to President Obama's address to the joint session of Congress last night. Let's just say, "the liberal media" strikes again! How else can you explain headlines like: Jindal's GOP Response Flops Jindal's response: Panned, seared And being compared to the character of Kenneth from 30 Rock. This was supposed to be Jindal's big national debut and it was a colossal flop. I guess Sarah Palin and Mike Huckabee can give a big sigh of relief. Then again others have bounced back from dismal national debuts. Think of Bill Clinton's debut at the Democratic National Convention a few years back. The bigger problem is for the Republican party and their small and uninspiring ideas. From Andrew Sullivan in the Atlantic:
If the GOP believes tax cuts - more tax cuts - are the answer to every problem right now, they are officially out of steam and out of ideas. And remember: this guy is supposed to be the smart one.
At a time when the nation needs bold thinking and fresh new ideas, the question is can the GOP bounce back?
