Online Outreach Organizer:

 *   Primary responsibility will be fostering and maintaining relationships with key organizations, both environmental and others outside groups who have a shared mutual interest; proactively reaching out to groups and coalitions (religious, business, students, hunters, etc.) to educate and cultivate potential opportunities to collaborate on projects or initiatives that will help promote and amplify the Alliance’s mission;
 *   Strong appreciation and understanding of campaigns and field related activities; possessing the ability to develop and deploy “micro campaigns” online that compliment ongoing efforts currently being undertaken by the Alliance both online and offline; possess the ability to recruit, educate and persuade outside individuals and organizations to join these initiatives as part of the overall campaign; have a strong understanding of field activities, online tools and how to incorporate them into online campaigns and activities with an offline capacity that ultimately compliments each other;
 *   Ability to identify key grassroots leaders in every state and recruit/motivate these individuals to take action or initiative within the state or at the local level on a consistent basis. Also possess the ability to ensure all online activities are fully integrated with ongoing field activities to avoid individuals within the state working at cross purposes;
 *   Ability to build an active and ongoing online presence through social networks, online activists by establishing distinct “voices” (or personalities) from within the Alliance who can communicate to this network;
 *   Ideal candidate would be an individual who’s a strong manager that appreciates how to manage a variety of personalities as well as online volunteers who could contribute in creating online social networks accordingly.

Web Developer:

Responsibilities:

 *   Own the information architecture and interaction design for all ACP websites
 *   Design and implement front-end interfaces for in-house developed web applications and other web components
 *   Guide the user interface design process for web applications developed by outside vendors
 *   Lead the in-house implementation of ACP site redesigns

Qualifications:

 *   At least three years professional experience in front-end web development and information architecture
 *   Strong eye for technical and design elegance
 *   Expert knowledge of standard web design technologies: HTML, CSS, and Javascript, including Ajax and libraries such as jQuery and Prototype
 *   Understanding of web browser quirks and proven ability to develop interfaces that work seamlessly across all major browsers

Preference given for experience with:

 *   Usability testing
 *   Agile web development frameworks such as Ruby on Rails and Django
 *   Revision control systems such as Subversion and Git
 *   Website optimizing tools such as Google Website Optimizer

Staff Assistant:

    *   Responsible assisting the team in all areas of work. This will include building landing pages, updating web content, researching blogs, and compiling weekly stat reports.
