Join us in LA and Discuss Immigration Reform!

On Thursday, in response to Rep. Gutierrez's introduction of CIR ASAP, the Asian Pacific American Legal Center will host a listening and Q&A session in Los Angeles for a tele-townhall hosted by Rep. Mike Honda, one of the original co-sponsors for Rep. Gutierrez's bill.

WHAT:          A listening and Q&A session on Rep. Mike Honda’s national tele-townhall on the new comprehensive immigration reform legislation. The press will hear telephonically from Rep. Honda (D-CA), Karen Narasaki from the Asian American Justice Center, and Eunsook Lee from the National Korean American Services and Education Consortium. Following the listening session, advocates from the Asian and Pacific Islander (API) community in Los Angeles will host a Q&A session on the new legislation for the press and other community members.
