Why let Sarah Silverman hog all the fun?
If you're a Korean American Obama supporter with undecided parents or grandparents, it's time to get your click on. Because here's a great video in which filmmaker Annabel Park interviews her mom, a two-time Bush voter who explains in Korean why she made the switch to Obama.
Pass it on! Halmoni* and Haraboji** would love to hear from ya.
And read on for some interesting data regarding Korean demographics in swing states.

To get a sense of the potential power of the Korean American vote, here's some data from the US Census estimates for 2007. First, here's the Korean population as a percentage of the general population for the states with the largest numbers of Koreans:
Hawaii: 22,544 = 1.76 percent of the population
California: 422,414 = 1.16 percent of the population
New Jersey: 91.378 = 1.05 percent of the population
New York: 127,901 = 0.66 percent of the population
Now here's the data for a few key swing states. The most surprising finding? Koreans are a bigger percentage of the population of Virginia than New York!
Virginia: 65,707 = 0.85 percent of the population
Nevada: 12,031 = 0.47 percent of the population
Georgia: 45,282 = 0.47 percent of the population
Colorado: = 18,533 = 0.38 percent of population
Of course, general population percentages don't necessarily correspond directly with registered or likely voter percentages, particularly with populations that include large numbers of recent immigrants. But given the razor-thin margins of victory we've seen in recent elections, Korean American voters could make the difference in a number of swing states.
So pass on the video, and check out the rest of the clips from Annabel Park and Eric Byler -- including the Yul Kwon vid -- at UnitedForObama.
