Marriage Equality Marches On

This past Saturday was the annual Golden Dragon Parade in Los Angeles Chinatown.  The event, sponsored by the Chinese Chamber Commerce, attracts an estimated 100,000 spectators and it was important to get the message out there that AAPI's support marriage equality. That's why API Equality, along with a dozen other pro-marriage-equality groups, put together a contingent of 190 marchers, including many straight allies. And while there was some issues with the parade organizers as to how political the signs could be, as well as the occasional religious protester, things went pretty smoothly for our side.
