It's funny sometimes the things you find sitting in your inbox. I don't know how I got on this group's list (I'm definitely not their target audience), but I just got emailed an urgent message from a group trying to stop the Civil Unions Bill currently making its way through the Hawaii State House.
Of course I went to this "group's" website and found the usual assortment of half-naked men in leather and drag alongside the dire warnings about saving the children and overturning the will of the people. (I won't include their link on this site as I don't want to promote their efforts.)
However, there is something you can do:
The wingnuts have asked their members to contact the lead legislator championing this bill, State Senator Clarence Nishihara.
If you feel like it, please email Senator Nishara and give him some true aloha spirit!
