Meet Alicia Wang, Candidate for Women Vice Chair of California Democratic Party
Alicia is a community and grassroots political activist, and an advocate for civil rights and social justice. She is a mother, educator and homeowner in the Richmond District of San Francisco. Alicia grew up in Hong Kong and later Hawaii and is now a teacher at S. F. City College. Fighting for New Immigrants, fighting for the Democratic Party, fighting for working people, and fighting for women's rights, Alicia always had the courage to speak truth to power. She is probability the only Asian American state Democratic Party elected officer and is currently the Northern CA Vice Chair.
But due to by-law changes the Vice Chairs are now Male and Women Vice Chair instead of North and South Vice Chairs. She needs our help to win this election. She is the grassroots candidate. Please go to her website and make a small contribution to support her.
