NEW YORK (CBS/AP) Police say a one-time reality TV contestant and pastor has been charged with murder and torture in the killing of soft-core porn star and model Felicia Lee, whose body was found in a Monrovia, Calif., apartment.

The Los Angeles County district attorney's office says Brian Lee Randone was charged Tuesday in the death of Lee, who, along with starring in many Playboy films, was in mainstream movies such as "Rush Hour 2" and "The Fast and The Furious."

Lee, who acted under the pseudonym "Felicia Tang," was born and raised in Singapore, according to her official Web site.

Lee wrote on the site that she enjoyed a variety of activities, including "fireing [sic] it up being the ultimate party animal," but also "being a suzy [sic] homemaker" and cooking.

Lee wrote that while she was continuing her modeling and acting career, she was branching out into the mortgage banking industry.

According to the San Gabriel Valley Tribune:

"Brian Lee Randone, 45, holds a bachelor's degree from Moody Bible Institute in Chicago and a master's of divinity degree from Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas, according to a brief 1996 biography on the Baylor University Web site."

The paper also said that Randone worked as a Christian mime and in 2000 appeared on the Fox reality show "The Sexiest Bachelor in America."

A sheriff's spokeswoman says detectives are continuing their investigation into the killing.

hmm... i'm just 15 miles from San Gabriel Valley and I haven't heard anything about it. maybe this narrative doesn't fit the "model minority" narrative enough to garner much media attention at all. but it's still a violence against women story, all the same... and sad.
