• Here's a nice little article about NYC Councilmember John Liu.  It's always good to get good press when you're running for higher office.

• Who knew that being green was such a top priority for AAPI's.  Here's a poll that shows that we could be a swing vote on environmental issues.

• Speaking of green AAPI's, here's the story of 17-year old Ashutosh Patra who has earned acclaim for creating a project that makes electricity and clean water.

• And here's a profile of Raj Shah, Obama's new Undersecretary of Agriculture for Research, Education and Economics.

• Senator Inouye is taking the lead on closing Gitmo, demanding that Obama come up with a plan.

Inouye was also the main sponsor of an amendment to strip out $100 million or so alloted to close Guantanamo Bay in the war supplemental (demanding that Obama come up with a plan).

I would consider him a leading obstructionist to the expeditious closing of Guantanamo Bay.  I'm really not a fan of what this war hero has become.  He needs to go.
