OCA Seeks Director of Operations

*Director of Operations*

Headquartered in the nation’s capital, OCA, a national organization
dedicated to advancing the social, political and economic well being of
Asian Pacific Americans (APAs), is seeking to fill a Director of Operations
position. OCA represents over 80 chapters and affiliates across the United
States and embraces the hopes and aspirations of APAs. OCA has owned and
operated its headquarters building since 2006. For more information on the

*THE POSITION*: The Director of Operations will provide leadership in the
areas of fiscal administration, information technology, regulatory
compliance and facilities. As a member of the management team, the Director
of Operations will also provide direct supervision to the Office
Administrator. The position will work closely with members of OCA’s
National Board and report directly to the Executive Director.

*RESPONSIBILITIES:*

- Lead and manage the organization’s finance and operations departments
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures to achieve financial
strength and operating efficiency
- Monitor and allocate resources consistent with the budget and mission
- Supervise staff and interns who assist with the relevant office
functions
- Manage external consultants for property management, finance and audit,
IT, and other office operations

*QUALIFICATIONS:*

§ Minimum of 5 years of well documented professional work experience in
non-profit finance and operations

§ Bachelor Degree or equivalent required

§ Advanced Degree in finance or administration preferred

§ Strong problem solving skills

§ Strong writing and communication skills, including proper use of
communications tools and technologies

§ Sound, current computer and office management skills

§ Property management skills a plus

§ Capacity to work independently and as part of a team

§ Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with attention to
detail and ability to manage multiple projects

§ Ability to work flexible hours including some evening and weekend
requirements

*SALARY & BENEFITS: *$55,000 to $65,000, health insurance, and paid
vacation and holidays
