APAP NEWS
  1. APAP is currently searching for a new e-mail list management service that can handle our current volume of e-mail addresses. More details will be made available in our next edition, when we hope to have a new service established.
  2. Thanks for all those who attended our training in Philadelphia on May 31st. The training was led by DNC Director of Training Parag Mehta and Betsy Kim, Deputy Director of the DNC’s American Majority Partnership department.  The event was a great success and has even been featured in a recommended diary on Daily Kos! The DNC is planning to hold these trainings every weekend in conjunction with a variety of partners all around the country.  Such trainings, an element of DNC Chair Howard Dean’s terrific 50 state strategy, are a natural and critical element of Sen. Obama’s grassroots movement. We are in the initial stages of planning one in the South in the fall. Keep an eye out for a training in your area soon! Please email us at apafp@apaforprogress.org for more details.
