Russell Simmons' curator Derrick Adams presents "Hope, Change, Progress" Art Fundraiser

From Terrence Yang (thanks, Terrence!):  Join us Tuesday.  My fellow host Ayana Jackson, who created this event with George Magstosis, passed by the gallery last night and said "Derrick is making magic! It looks amazing!" Tuesday, June 24th from 6- 9 pm the G.R. N'Namdi Gallery (NYC) will host the Hope Change Progress: Art Focus for Obama Exhibition/ Fundraiser. Under the curatorial direction of Derrick Adams (Director & Curator, Rush Art Gallery, founded by brothers Russell and Danny Simmons) and co-hosted by yours truly and others,  this silent auction offers the work of established, emerging and mid career artists. Well-known artists like Ed Clark, Frank Bowling RA, Debora Willis and Nanette Carter will hang alongside younger artists like William Cordova, Hank Willis Thomas, Diane Wah, and Miru Kim. This event provides the unique opportunity to both collect and contribute as 100 % of the proceeds from the sale of the artwork will go to Obama for America in the form of direct contributions. This is a rare opportunity not to be missed. We hope to see you there. G.R. N'Namdi Gallery 526 W. 26th St.(between 10th & 11th) Chelsea 6-9 pm Please RSVP to artfocusforobama@gmail.com $50 suggested campaign donation at the door.
