Last week, Jon Stewart and the Daily Show exposed the 30 Republican Senators who voted against an Anti-Rape amendment (yes... they said NO to an Anti-Rape amendment).
Today, my Facebook and Twitter friends are abuzz with news that Senator Daniel Inouye (Hawaii-D) is considering killing an Anti-Rape amendment (by Senator Al Franken) in the Defense Appropriations Bill. Yes... Senator Inouye is considering saying "No" to a measure that would:
prevent the government from working with contractors who denied victims of assault the right to bring their case to court... (Huffington Post)
Call Senator Inouye at 202-224-3934 X6747 and tell him not to water down or compromise on the Anti-Rape amendment.
