Asian American Women in the Changing World of Education

I am an Asian American Woman in education. I have my Bachelor's degree in Human Development and Psychology. I finished my teaching credential in one year and my Master's degree in Education in one year after that. I have been teaching for four years. On March 15, 2010, the impossible happened. I received a pink slip. I am Asian American. I worked hard to get where I am. I work in a high poverty school where children are given free or reduced priced lunches everyday. I work long hours and I don't get paid overtime.

The hope is to create more jobs, investment and growth for each country through this partnership - while also combating climate change, of course.

Nobel Peace Prize Awarded to American, Conservatives Go Crazy With Rage


Today President Obama was awarded the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize for his extraordinary efforts to create diplomacy throughout the world. While many individuals question the award, only three groups outright objected to it: the Taliban, claiming he has done nothing to pursue peace in Afghanistan; Hamas, because the American government still does not recognize the nation of Palestine; and American Conservatives, because he is President Obama.
