June is LGBT pride month. We have a variety of queer AAPI's, friends, families and allies posting about their experiences. Thanks to Be DeGuzman, one of APAP's 2009 Unsung Heroes, for coordinating this special week of posts.

Sam Yoon and the Boston Phoenix's racist imagery

I knew this was going to happen.  An Asian American guy steps up to run for office, and the media reveals its true feelings. The good thing is that the media's issues--not our issues--are coming to light, and if Sam wins, we can continue to help them work on these issues.  Go Sam.
