Chinese American Population in Harlem NYC Surges

The left map shows the results from the 2000 Census, the right map expresses data from 2010.  Notice the dark orange area (African Americans) becoming lighter as White and Asian residents move in.  Also take note of the growing pink area (Asian Americans) in New Jersey.

RNC trying to raise money with "Census" Theme

Found this article on my Monday morning: Even After Law Aimed At Banning It, RNC Still Sending Misleading 'Census' Mailer.

The Republican National Committee is continuing to send out a misleading fundraising mailer labeled "Census Document," just weeks after Congress passed a law aimed at banning such mailers.


Remember! BE COUNTED!

I understand that there are many blog entries about the census already and I KNOW that many of you have heard the mantra, “10 Questions, 10 minutes!” many times.  However, I think it’s important to reiterate once again why participating and sending that blue census form is so important for the API community since the Census Day, April 1, is already right around the corner.
