Vote for the Center for the Pacific Asian Family

As we noted in an earlier post, there are four AAPI organizations who made the finals of the Chase Community Giving challenge. With a chance to win as much as $1,000,000, each group was asked to submit a new "big idea". The Center for the Pacific Asian Family, the vital non-profit based in Los Angeles, has enlisted some pretty big guns to help promote their big cause: ending domestic violence.

Chase Community Giving Program

If you’re a Facebook user, you’ve probably heard of Chase Community Giving program. You may have even voted for your favorite non-profits in the first round.  The results of the 100 organizations that received the most votes were revealed in December, and among them were four Asian Pacific American organizations highlighted below. All four of the organizations received $25,000 dollars and have continued on to the next round to compete for $1 million. In the second and last round, they share with us their Big Idea for using the $1 million to better their community.
