Good news from the John Liu campaign. Liu has just maxed out in his race to become the Public Advocate of New York City. That's over $3,850,000, nothing to sneeze at. I'm not really sure what the Public Advocate does, but according to their website:
The Public Advocate solves problems on behalf of all New Yorkers. Over 12,000 cases are handled directly every year by the Ombudsman's Unit and it is this real world experience that helps shape the Public Advocate's policy directives.
The news couldn't come at a better time for Liu as his campaign faces its biggest challenge yet.
