I'm sure a lot of people have heard about the Iron Chef America Super Chef Battle.  White House executive chef and Filipina American Cristeta Comerford teamed up with Bobby Flay to battle Emeril Lagasse and Mario Batali.  The secret ingredient: anything from the White House garden.  Can I just say... WOW! Access to fresh produce for so many communities is so limited.
