Asian American candidates vote results

There were quite a few Asian Americans on the ballot yesterday. Here are the raw numbers for some of the races that APAP was covering this past election cycle. Special congratulations to all the winners, including historic victors Mark Keam in Virginia and John Liu in New York City.

AAPI Candidates in San Mateo at Record Number

Wow, seems like there's a bumper crop of Asian American and Pacific Islander candidates running for local office in San Mateo this fall. According to this article in the Examiner, twelve candidates, including four incumbents, have filed the necessary paperwork to run. If they are all successful, the number of AAPI elected officials would dramatically increase.
