The New Year is a time for family, as an Asian American I am lucky enough to have two new years to celebrate. This year I celebrated Lunar New Year with over 50 sisters from across the country at the White House. My sisters and I are a part of National Asian Pacific American Women’s Forum (NAPAWF). NAPAWF is the only multi-issue AAPI women's organization intent on building the grassroots movement to advance social justice and human rights for API women and girls.

Neugebauer (TX-19) ID'd as 'Baby Killer' Shouter

"In the heat and emotion of the debate, I exclaimed the phrase 'it's a baby killer' in reference to the agreement reached by the Democratic leadership," Neugebauer said. "I deeply regret that my actions were mistakenly interpreted as a direct reference to Congressman Stupak himself."

Obama losing supporters and volunteers?

It begins with a report on how Organizing for America got a lukewarm response to a recent appeal for its supporters to call their Senators and ask them to support the health care and then goes on to include quotes from several of the disaffected members on the list:
