APAP-LA Organizing Meeting

2012 will be an exciting election year. APAP plans to have a big impact!

If you are interested in playing a LEADERSHIP role with our Socal efforts, please join us for a meeting in Koreatown next Thursday. We are looking for people who can help organize local events, as well as electoral efforts in Southern California and Nevada, as we did in 2008.

Please note, this is a meeting for people that want to play a leadership role. We will have future meetings for people who want to help out, as well.

Tenth Anniversary of 9/11 event in Los Angeles

It's hard to believe the 10th anniversary is coming upon us, but here we are: ten years since 9/11. APAP-LA has been invited to co-sponsor a community event at the Asian Pacific American Legal Center on Thursday, September 8th from 6:00 pm to 7:45 pm. The event, entitled, “10 Years Later: 9/11 & Its Impact on the Asian American Community,” will feature a film screening of the award-winning documentary, A Dream In Doubt, followed by a panel discussion. They've actually asked us to screen parts of "Vincent Who?" as their plenary session at Friday lunch. (It's a last-minute addition and we're still working out some of the details.)
