How far will the GOP go for the Latino vote?

(From the Restore Fairness blog) In the 2008 Presidential Election, Republicans won only 31% of the Latino vote, down from 40% of Latino votes they had four years earlier when George Bush took office for the second time. And based on exit polls, it seems apparent that the Hispanic vote played a large part in President Obama’s Electoral College victory and win over John McCain.


Support Martha Coakley this Tuesday

The big election to fill the remainder of Senator Ted Kennedy's term is this Tuesday. Polls have shown the Republicans with a strong shot of taking this Senate seat. Representing the Democrats is the State's Attorney General Martha Coakley. In December, her campaign (as well as the other three Democrats in the primary) answered questions posed by APAP-Boston's Michelle Wu. MA Senate Candidates Answer APAP's Questions

With four days left to go, the race is finally heating up between the Democratic contenders for the U.S. Senate seat in Massachusetts vacated by Senator Ted Kennedy's passing.  The Democratic primary for the special election will take place this Tuesday, December 8th.  Voters must choose between four highly qualified Democrats, each with a different field of specialty, but all competing to continue Kennedy's progressive legacy.  Massachusetts Attorney General Martha Coakley brings a distinguished career as a legal advocate.
