Manan Trivedi, born and raised in Reading, PA, is a primary care physician, a retired Lt. Commander in the Navy, and an Iraq War veteran. Hands down he is the best candidate for the 6th District, one who will be the "Evidence Based Legislator." The APAP PAC was early to voice its support, recognizing Trivedi's common sense approach with the strong foundation of progressive values.

September 30, 2009 - In a unanimous decision, the Asian Pacific Americans for Progress Political Action Committee (APAP PAC) proudly endorsed Dr. Manan Trivedi for the Democratic Nomination for the Congressional Seat in the 6th District of Pennsylvania. 


Sestak Announces Senate Run

After months of speculation, Pennsylvania Congressman Joe Sestak (PA-07) announced today that he is challenging Democrat-turned-Republican-turned-Democrat Senator Arlen Specter in the state's Democratic primary. The seat is up in 2010.
