APAP Philadelphia recognized for redistricting work

By law, Philadelphia City Council must redraw and reestablish districts after the US Census completes its work counting the nation every ten years.  August 3rd, Azavea (Philadelphia-based software-engineering business specializing in geographic data analysis) announced a public redistricting competition to be conducted at FixPhillyDistricts.com, where any Philadelphia resident or group was able to use Azavea's DistrictBuilder software to draw their own councilmanic districts.

APAP PAC Endorses Manan Trivedi for Congress (PA-6)

Manan Trivedi, born and raised in Reading, PA, is a primary care physician, a retired Lt. Commander in the Navy, and an Iraq War veteran. Hands down he is the best candidate for the 6th District, one who will be the "Evidence Based Legislator." The APAP PAC was early to voice its support, recognizing Trivedi's common sense approach with the strong foundation of progressive values.
