On August 29th, 2009, some 3,000 people gathered on a rainy Saturday afternoon, holding signs at the crossroads of the world: Times Square.

Thousands of protestors joined Pacifika Voice and APAforProgress this evening at Pershing Square, Downtown Los Angeles at the HIV/AIDS Protest Vigil & March.  Progressive allies from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, AIDS Project Los Angeles, Los Angeles County Commission on HIV, and Bienestar rallied by our side to demand Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to take back a line-item veto he made on July 28th, 2009.

10,000 Strong for Healthcare Reform in DC

Pedestrians passing by Union Square Park early on Thursday morning a week and a half ago would have noticed three buses idling on the north side of the park. Gathering outside were 140 New Yorkers, from 13 year old Danielle Curre to retired animator Ron Crawford. They held handmade signs and wore small blue buttons.
