As we head closer to the Sept. 15th primary in New York City, each of the candidates are announcing more and more endorsements. Today, we got word that Democrat S.J. Jung, who is running for the City Council seat in Flushing that is currently held by John Liu, just got a pretty big endorsement:

The race to replace City Councilman John Liu's seat is getting down to the wire and things are getting heated. With just two weeks to go until the primary election, Sept. 15, the six Democratic candidates — John Choe, Yen Chou, S.J. Jung, Constantine Kavadas, Isaac Sasson and James Wu — met for a heated debate in Flushing and the claws came out.


Grading the Websites of AAPI Candidates: NYC Edition

There are lots of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders running for local, state and federal office all across the country in 2009 and 2010. In hopes of analyzing each campaign’s new media strategy, we’ll be posting a series of entries with their websites and other on-line presence.  (If anyone knows HTML and can help me make this into a pretty grid, please let me know. I eventually want to have one master grid for all AAPI candidates around the country running for office.)
