Hi everyone--
It is hard to miss these days that we have a historic and unprecedented election this year. It may be the most significant of our lifetime. What I find especially inspiring is the number of Americans engaged in the political process for the first time, including many Asian Pacific Americans that are serving as campaign staffers and volunteers across the country!
Thanks to your generosity and support, the Asian American Civic Project (
http://apapipeline.org)--an initiative of APAP PAC--was able to train and send Campaign Fellows to work on races critically important to the Asian Pacific American community this year! You should know that your generosity and support is making an impact right away, but we still need your help! Fundraising for this year is not finished yet. We still have significant expenditures left including stipends, travel, and a post-election retreat.
Included below is an update from our Campaign Fellows working out in the field through Election Day 2008. They have inspiring stories and personal anecdotes to share with you.

Please make another contribution today before the FEC's third quarter deadline (

If you are in the DC area, APAP PAC will be holding a fundraiser in part to benefit the Civic Project on Thursday, October 2 at Teaism (400 Eighth St, NW) from 6:30PM to 8:00PM!
Thank you so much for your generosity and support!
Sincerely,
Clarence Tong
