After two weeks of incredible posts on the need for a broad and inclusive health reform, the fight to pass health reform will happen in the predominantly API SoCal town of Alhambra on Tuesday night, when Congressman Adam Schiff, a "Blue-Dog" Democrat, hosts a townhall on health care reform.
Reportedly, opponents and naysayers of health care reform will be turning out in massive numbers - estimates say 2,000 people will be protesting the event. Advocates for reform need to outnumber and outvoice this opposition and lend support to Congressman Schiff, who has publicly been very clear about supporting a robust public option.
Please join us at 5pm at the Alhambra Civic Center Library (101 S. First Street, Alhambra, CA 91801) as we rally outside to show support for health care reform. Only members of the district will be allowed into the town hall on a first come first serve basis.
